JULIA HAMILTON is an artist living and working in London and Deal, Kent. She works in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking. She attained her BA Hons and MA Fine Art Painting at The City and Guilds School of Art London. She also holds a PG Diploma in Printmaking from Central St Martins and did her first degree in English and Fine Art at Exeter University.
She has exhibited six times at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, shown with Flowers Gallery - Small is Beautiful, Transition Gallery, APT Creekside, Sim Smith, Sarah O'Kane Contemporary, Long & Ryle, Discerning Eye and NEAC at the Mall Galleries, Lynn Painter-Stainers, The Arts Club in Dover St, Linden Hall Studio, Deal and Freud Museum, Hampstead amongst others.
She is a member of The Chelsea Arts Club, London and The Royal Academicians Room at the RA
Her work is held in private collections across the world.
She won the Sir Peter Blake Prize at The Mall Galleries for her 8ft Collograph of a Wedding Dress. Her work is also on permanent display at The Geffrye Museum, London.
